Some Suggestions from the Team:
- Participants are encouraged to make a conscious effort to maintain the quality of their paper in all aspects ranging from formatting, content and language.
- Kindly make sure the labeling of figures, tables etc., are made appropriately, this will aid during the scrutinizing of the papers and will also avoid unnecessary confusion.
- Make sure the references are suitably numbered and the references are quoted completed. Kindly refer to the format provided in the Rules and Regulations page for details on formatting of references.
- Kindly provide your email address and contact number besides your name in the paper that you submit.
- For selected participants, while making the final presentation, please avoid using pictures as backgrounds for the slides, avoid using heavy striking colors/gradients as backgrounds, do not fill up the entire slide with long sentences.
- Please give lot of importance towards Clarity of presentation, convey information as points (bullets, numbering etc.,), using flow charts wherever possible, give physical interpretation of equations, provide figures wherever possible, use simple language for your slides.
- Use simple professional templates, always bear in mind that the point is not given for creativity of the template, what is important is the content, so please keep the presentation template simple and neat.
- Develop a good structure of your presentation, for example – you can structure it like this:
- The problem being considered
- Why the problem was chosen (or what is the need to work on this problem)
- What is the current scenario(or solution) for tackling the problem
- Why have you chosen your method as a mean to solve the problem
- Description of the method
- Explain your novelty solution for the problem.
- Results and Discussions (comparisons etc.,)
- References
- Keep the total number of slides to just the required level, a quick powerful presentation is always more worthy than a long, slow dull presentation.
- Choose your number of slides based on the allotted time for presentation and always allow at least 3minutes for question and answers.
- A valid College ID Card
- Two Hard Copies (Print Out) in separate files of their paper which has been selected for presentation
- If possible a Hard copy of your presentation
