THE CADD MANIA

Problem statement

Participating teams are required to draw the given 3D mechanical design problem on the spot using either Solid edge or CATIA V5 within the given time of 3 hours.

Team specification

• Three members in a team.
• Any number of  teams can participate from a college.
• Teams formed by students from different educational institutions are allowed.

Rules

• The organisers will give the design problem at  the venue.
• All the materials required will be provided by the organizers and participants are not required to bring any materials.
• Any indisciplinary activity during the event will lead to disqualification.
• Participants should not use any software other than CATIA V5 & Solid edge.
• Judges decision will be final.
• Judges & organizers reserve all the rights.

Judging criteria

Depending on the accuracy and mistakes , judging panel of experts in the field will evaluate  the models of the participating teams.
